About OpenSourceCRMs
A free and independent directory of open source CRM software.
We started this website because almost every CRM directory online is full of paid tools, sponsored rankings and monthly subscription plans. We wanted a simple place where people can find only free, open source CRMs that they can download, install and use forever without paying anyone a recurring fee.
Every CRM listed here has a completely free version (Community or Open Source edition). You get the full source code, no artificial limits on users or records, and complete control over your data. You can run it on your own server, VPS or even a home computer.
We personally check that each project is still active, has recent updates, and a real community behind it. On each page you will find clear installation steps, hosting suggestions, pros and cons, and a comparison between self-hosted and any official cloud version (when the project offers one).
Who this site helps most
- Small business owners who want to stop paying monthly CRM fees
- Freelancers and startups that need a simple, free CRM without complex pricing
- Nonprofits, associations and community groups that manage members or donors
- Developers who like to customize software and keep full control
- Teams in India and other countries where low-cost hosting and easy setup matter
- Anyone who values privacy and does not want their customer data on someone else’s servers
What we do not do
- We do not accept money to list or rank any CRM higher
- We do not include tools that are no longer updated or have no active users
- We do not sell user data or leads to any company
- We do not push expensive cloud plans over free self-hosted versions
How the site is supported
Right now the site is run by a small group of people who pay for hosting and spend their own time keeping it updated. There are no sponsors, no paid placements and no affiliate links yet.
In the future we may add simple non-intrusive ads or accept donations to cover costs, but the entire directory will always stay free, independent and focused on open source tools.
